Interactive session on Functional English for learners was organised by the department of English Language Education in collaboration with the IQAC, MLCU on Friday October 14,2022.
The objective of the interactive meet was to acquaint students and faculty with new perspectives on the uses of Functional English.

The session was made lively and interactive, with practical anecdotes of Ms. Marilyn Lewis’s teaching experiences in various parts of the world. 

A retired teacher, Ms.Lewis is from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Emphasising on the uses of Functional English, the students were encouraged to use questioning as an activity, in order to engage in daily situational conversations.
